Quader, also the Road Transport and Bridges Minister, said BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has been playing the “broken record” over the obsolete caretaker government issue.
He said the caretaker government is a live issue only to the BNP and the undemocratic forces surrounding it, but the caretaker government is a dead issue to all people having democratic values at national and international levels.
Quader said, “We want to say clearly that no undemocratic system can be a safeguard of the democratic values of this country.”
The AL general secretary said, as long as they (BNP leaders) will not refrain from its ill-efforts to halt the democratic continuity of this country and make elections and electoral system questionable, there will be no question of dialogue.
